Using engineered mouse models to study T cell immunology
Our Focus
The Joshi lab focuses on understanding the immunobiology of T cells using engineered animal models. The differentiation of effector CD8 T cells is highly influenced by the signals that they encounter during an immune response, which differ in both space and time.
To address this question, the lab is made up of three teams focused on related areas of research:
Team 2 focuses on understanding the mechanisms and maintenance of peripheral T cell tolerance
Team 3 focuses on how T cells shape the cancer development and progression
